Joseph F. Hermann, Jr.Joseph F. Hermann, Jr. died on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Aria Health Torresdale Campus in Philadelphia. He was 72.Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Joe has been a long time resident of Levittown.He was a proud US Army Vietnam veteran, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star Cluster and 2 Purple Hearts.Joe was a member of the American Legion and a life time member of the VFW.He spent his working career as a Professional Butcher and enjoyed hunting, fishing, his animals and a good Phillies game.Beloved husband of 22 years to Barbara (Roberts), Joe is the loving father of Joseph F. Hermann, III, Bobbi Hasty, Leonard Hermann, Scott Evert, Ronald Hermann, Beth Erhard, David Hermann, Tim Hermann and the late Mark Hermann.Joe is the devoted grandfather of 11 and proud great grandfather of 2.He is the brother of Thomas Hermann, Sr., Dorothy Peterman, and the late Ronald Hermann.Joe will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown.
