John Andrew Perseponko

Born and raised in Bristol, PA to Joan and the late Andrew. John grew up in Bristol, PA. He attended Bristol High School, where he played football for the Warriors and graduated in 1979. John worked for Master Builders and DS Craig Trucking for over 30 years before retiring.

In his free time, John was fond of fishing and immersed himself in the cinematic Marvel Universe, as well as attending comic book conventions.

He is predeceased by his father, Andrew Perseponko, his aunt and uncle, Ann and John Dougherty; his brother-in-law, Jeffrey Crosby; and many aunts and uncles.

John is survived by his wife, Melanie and their two daughters and son-in-law, Jaime Miller and Airyelle Perseponko and her husband, Mike Zettick.

He was the loving "Pop Pop John" of Samantha Jones, Jacob Price, Ari and Leo Zettick; as well as a great grandfather to Scarlette Doyle. John is also survived by his mother, Joan Perseponko; his sisters, Renee Crosby and Andrea Moon; his brother, Andrew (Dawn) Perseponko.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a service at 4:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
