Born in Longford, Ireland, Mrs. Walsh moved to London, England and then to the United States at the age of 17.
She worked for Hulit's Shoe Store in Princeton for many years until retiring.
Joan loved to dance and was always quick to make other's laugh.
Beloved wife of the late David for nearly 39 years, Joan was the loving mother of David Walsh (Lisa) and Corey Walsh and devoted "Grammy" to Quin, Jane and Maggie.
Daughter of the late John and Winifred (Whelan) Dalton, she was the sister of the late Phyllis (Chuck), Elizabeth, Patricia (John), Sean (Marion), Marie (Thomas), the late Mary Jo (Seamus) and the late Frances (late Eamon) and will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 until 11 a.m. on Friday, September 24th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Medical Center, 1205 Langhorne Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047.
