James Paul Carter

Born in Bristol, the son of Diane (Secrest) Ryan and the late James Paul Carter, US Army E4, Jim has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County.

For 20 years, Jim was employed as an IT Consultant, retiring in 2022.

He was a proud US Navy Veteran of the Persian Gulf War.

Jim was a loving father to his son James and enjoyed spending time with him playing video games, reading Marvel comics, watching Marvel movies, swimming in his parent's pool and spending time in local parks. Jim also enjoyed relaxing with a fine cigar and a glass of beer.

Jim is survived by his son James, his sister Shannon, his mother Diane and step father Bob and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held Sunday April 2nd, from 11-12 with military honors following, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown PA 19056. A luncheon or gathering to follow in memory of James at a later time.

Internment will be held privately in the future.
