George "Ralph" Koch George Ralph Koch of Levittown died Friday, January 4, 2013 at Aria Hospital Bucks County Campus. Born in Hightstown NJ, son of the late John Koch and Margaret (Ralph) Koch, George had been an original Levittown homeowner since l952. He had been an active and dedicated member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish for more than 50 years, serving as an usher and annually at the parish fair, as well as many other volunteer services. George was an Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division. He was owner and operator of G.R. Koch Reupholstery for over 50 years. "Ralph", as he was known by his family and friends, enjoyed boating, fishing, watching sporting events such as baseball and football, casino trips with his wife and talking about the military. Ralph always had many humerous stories to tell about the things that had occured over the years. Mr. Koch was the beloved husband of Florence M. (Ryan) Koch for 60 years. He was the loving father of the late Timothy George Koch (Jacqueline), Mary Jane Bennett (Howard, deceased) and Lorraine DuGuay (Lawrence). He was the devoted grandfather of Danielle Troiso, Andrew Bennett, Michelle Ashnoff, Timothy Koch and Matthew DuGuay, and the great grandfather of Ryan Bennett and Ava Troiso. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetary, Bensalem, Pa. There are no calling hours on Saturday prior to the Mass.
