Gary J .Lomas Gary J. Lomas of Fairless Hills died on Friday, March 14, 2014, at Temple University Hospital. He was 53. Born in Philadelphia, Gary has been a life long resident of Fairless Hills, and was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish. He was a 1978 graduate of Pennsbury High School and attended the American Institute of Drafting and Pennco Tech, where he received a diploma with honors in Computer-Aided Drafting. Until his disability, Gary worked as a Designer for the Drever Group in Huntingdon Valley. Gary had an interest in current events and politics, loved a healthly debate, and even had aspirations of being President of the United States. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, but most important was the time spent with his family. He lived life with no regrets. He will always be his wife and daughter's superman! Gary was the devoted and beloved husband of Debbie (Lyman) Lomas for 32 years. He was the loving father of Kristin Marie Lomas (Robert Weiser), of Fairless Hills and Robert L. Patchell, Ohio. He was the devoted grandfather to two grandchildren. He was the son of Ethel Colbourne and the late Richard Lomas and brother of the late Donald Lomas and son-in-law to the late James Lyman, Sr. He will be sadly missed by his stepmother, Patricia Lomas of Morrisville; his in-laws, including his mother-in-law, Eileen Lyman; many nieces and nephews; many extended family members in Canada and his beloved pet, Soupie. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, March 21, 2014, from 7 until 9 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Friends may also call on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
