Florence Evelyn Palcko On Monday, July 7, 2014, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Florence Evelyn Palcko, passed away at home peacefully. She was 91 years old. She was the back bone of our family and will be sadly missed. She loved her family and always had time for everyone. She loved playing cards, watching Football and doing her circle word puzzles and couldn't wait for the Kentucky Derby. She was the wife of the late Richard Gerald Palcko and the mother of five children: Richard Palcko, Jr. and wife, Brenda; Beverly McWilliams and husband, Russell; Wayne Palcko and wife, Kathy; Marlene Janson and husband, Charles; and Garry Palcko and wife, Doreen. She had 10 grandchildren: Lisa Palcko; Ricky Palcko; Paul Callahan and wife, Lisa; Marcy Rovenolt and husband, Chris; Jennifer Palcko; Bridget Palcko, Mark Palcko, Shannon Perry; and Bruce Palcko. She is also survived by many great and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Palcko was predeceased by her sister, Dolores Derov; brothers, William, John and Raymond Burke and her granddaughter, Sue Copson. In her early working days she was a seamstress for Al-may Sportswear and later worked at Wawa in Levittown, where she retired after many years. So, if anyone out there has any connections with God, please say a prayer for our mom and ask Him to take good care of her and keep an extra eye on us as we are sure going to miss her. Mom, you're going home. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
