Eileen Marie Carroll Eileen Marie Carroll, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 72. Born in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Bridget (O'Keefe) and James Cunneen, Eileen was a graduate of Saint Pius V High School. Eileen was a long time resident of Levittown before moving to Yardley, PA in 2005. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, where she was a loyal member of the church choir. Eileen retired from Airgas Safety after working there for 30 years in both the Sales and Purchasing Departments. Eileen's true passion was spending time with her family, as well as the Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance. Eileen's energy and love for life was beautiful. She was a fighter, a true inspiration to all and no matter what battle was thrown her way, she overcame it with a beautiful spirit and infectious smile. Eileen was the beloved wife of 50 years to Thomas F. Carroll, Sr. In December 2014, Tom and Eileen celebrated their 50th Anniversary by renewing their vows at a celebration held at their home. Eileen is the loving mother of Thomas Carroll, Jr. (Sue), John Carroll, James Carroll (Jennifer), Robert Carroll (Nina), Kenneth Carroll and Stephen Carroll (Kelly). Eileen will be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren, Ashley, Thomas, Joseph, Anthony, Alexa, Aaron, Dominic, Zachary and Madison. She was preceded in death by her loving brother, William "Bill" Cunneen. The family would like to recognize the entire team at Saint Mary Medical Center, where she had received amazing care during her illness. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 15th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday, March 16th from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday,10:30 am, at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
