Longtime resident of Titusville, NJ, David Michael Schutsky, passed away leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering courage, and deep love for his family. Born in 1959, David graduated from Ewing High School in 1977. A motorcycle enthusiast, he took pride in his 1991 Custom Harley Davidson Softail and found joy in slow pitch softball, pitch and putt with his boys, and the freedom of the open road.
David’s life changed forever when he met Carol Kondrach on the 4th of July on the National Mall in Washington, DC. That chance encounter led to a beautiful marriage that spanned 36 years, built on love and partnership. Together, they raised three incredible children: Zachary Joseph Schutsky (Amy Tyburski), Adam John Schutsky (Chloe Swindler), and Benjamin David Schutsky. David was also the proud grandfather of Bailey Joseph, son of Zachary/Amy, all who he loved dearly.
David served proudly at ETS for over 40 years and also worked at Amazon and Pennington Quality Market. Although he was quiet by nature, David’s courageous spirit shone brightly, especially as he faced his illness with bravery, honor, and resilience. Above all, David was a true family man, devoted to the people he loved and to building a home filled with care and connection.
David is survived by his wife, Carol; his children and grandchild; his sister Donna Cisco and Uncle Kenneth Santosusso as well as their Chihuahuas, Manfred and Adonis.
A celebration of life for Dave will take place at a later date. Details will be shared here.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Abramson Cancer Center - Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, in honor of David’s fight and legacy.
