David R. Machek Esq.

He was a Graduate of Norwin High School and attended Tampa University with cross enrollment at the University of South Florida on a AFROTC Scholarship. After 2 years in Florida, he returned to Pittsburgh and got his degree at the University of Pittsburgh, before going on to graduate from Temple University School of Law.

David was the owner of Disability and Injury Law Offices in Jenkintown for many years until he recently began a position with Parmele Law Firm, P.C. In 2023, Dave was honored as one of the Top 500 Disability advocates by the U.S. Social Security Administration.

He was a huge fan of Johnny Cash and Van Halen, was a guitar aficionado and was self-taught. Dave loved animals, gardening, classic rock and roll, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He cherished the time he spent with his daughter, Alex.

Dave is predeceased by his father, Raymond J. Machek, his ex-wife, Nicole Machek, and his great dane, Elvis.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Alex Machek; his mother, F. Shirley Machek of N. Huntington, PA; his brother, Jack Machek of Harrisburg, PA; and many friends and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Antioch, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA 19067.

Burial of his urn will be held in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in David's memory to Disabled American Veterans.
