Daniel R. Block

Dan was born on April 16, 1973 in Germany to Noi Ratanakul and Paul Block. His mother is from Thailand. Dan took so much pride in this Thai heritage. He grew up in Falls Township where he graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1992. After high school, Dan went to live with his older brother in Hawaii for a few years, then moved to Arizona. He finished his bachelor’s degree at West Chester University.

Dan had a taste for good food and pretty ladies. He lived by his own set of rules. He had a laugh that was contagious. Although he was a world class ball buster, he had the biggest heart. He would have done anything for anyone that was lucky enough to have him in their lives that he considered a friend or family. He enjoyed playing cards, all Philadelphia sports, getting low on the dance floor with the fastest feet in Bucks County and spending time with family. Most importantly, his son, Daniel Jacob. The love he had for Daniel was immeasurable.

Dan is survived by his son, Daniel Jacob Block, his mother Noi Block (Brad Frey), his father Paul Block (Judy), his brother Tom Ratanakul (Penny), his sister Deb Smeltzer (Chris), his nieces Cassidy Moore (Nathan) Kiana, Natasha, his nephew Jacob, his great niece Zoey, and his extended family in Thailand and Hawaii and many friends he considered family.

A viewing for Daniel will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by Words of Remembrance at 7:00 PM.

Cremation will take place privately with the family.
