Born in Harrisburg, PA, Christopher has been a resident of Levittown since 1976. He was a 1992 graduate of Pennsbury High School and the Bucks County Technical School and then went on to attend Ohio Auto and Diesel Tech. Christopher spent his career as a diesel mechanic and was most recently employed with Johnson Specialty Transportation Inc. in Burlington, NJ.
Christopher was a lifetime member of the Levittown Fire Co. #1 Station 32 which he joined at the age of 16 and served as a past Lieutenant and Captain.
For many years he was an actor with Midnight Productions at Active Acres Farm.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially playing with his grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Marcella "Marcy" (Callahan) for 27 years, Christopher was the loving father of Matthew Callahan (Carah Booth) and devoted grandfather of Leila, Gunnar, Paisley and Aiden Callahan.
Christopher will also be missed by his mother, Margaret Rovenolt; brother, Nevin (Lori); sister, Amy (Erbie "Chip" Brymer); nephew, Nevin Jr.; niece and goddaughter, Zoey; brother-in-law, Paul Callahan as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nevin Rovenolt Sr.
Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 4th at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Rosedale Memorial Park.
