Carole Yeager-Ellis, of Fairless Hills, died on Friday, May 13, 2011 at her home. She was 46. Born in Bristol Borough, Carole has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County. She was a 1982 graduate of Pennsbury High School. She also attended Bucks County Community College and graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Carole worked as a trauma nurse at St. Mary Medical Center in the I.C.U. and later the PAC. U. for 10 years. She was very active with her children's activities including the Pennsbury Falcons Cheerleading Association, the Falls Township Soccer Club and Fairless Hills Little League. Carole volunteered for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk and was part of the medical team. She was the sister of the late Harry Ellis. Carole was the beloved wife of Timothy Yeager, who she was with for 13 years. She was the loving mother of Courteney, Casey and Alexa Yeager-Ellis. She was the daughter of Kathleen Ellis of Fairless Hills and the sister of Jeff Schillings of Morrisville, Mark Schillings of Levittown and Sandra Morris of Fairless Hills. Carole was the daughter-in-law of Francis, Jr. and the late Leona Yeager of Bensalem. She was the sister-in-law of Kathy Schulte of Pensacola, FL, Francis Yeager III of Atlanta, GA, Leona M. Yeager of Fairless Hills and Regina Redmond of Langhorne. She will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Bristol Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Yeager-Ellis Children Education Fund , c/o Citizens Bank, 2039 E. LIncoln Highway, Langhorne, PA 19047.
