Born in Trenton, NJ, he resided in Langhorne, PA where he was a lifelong resident. Carmen was honorably discharged after having served active duty in Vietnam for the United States Air Force.
He was the owner of Carmen's Home Improvements. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, moonshining and spending time with his family at his cabin in Bradford County. He was a great father to his son and grandsons, a great husband and friend to many. His kindness and contagious laugh will be missed by everyone. Carmen was a dedicated advocate for veterans, selflessly committing his time and finances to support and assist fellow veterans.
Predeceased by his parents, Dominick C. and Gloria (Marchette) Spadaccino. He is survived by his wife, Ginny of 48 years; his son, Steve (Mindy) Spadaccino; his grandchildren, Christopher (Shelly), Steven, Karsyn (Joe), Darcy (Tyler), and Alan N.; his great-granddaughter, Siena; his siblings, Mark (Joyce), Donald, Julia (Joe), and Dominick (Nina). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.
Cremation will follow privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carmen's name to Tunnel to Towers and St. Jude Hospital for Children.
