Brenda J. McGinty

Brenda J. McGinty passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 surrounded by her family at Lower Bucks Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 58. Born in Elwood City, PA, the daughter of the late Carmen and Joan Naddeo, she was a life long resident of Levittown and was a 1969 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Brenda loved going to the casinos. She is the beloved wife of Willliam McGinty and the loving mother of Ryan McGinty (Jamie Pickering). She is the sister of Linda Spicer and her husband, David of Levittown; Denise Eltz and her husband, David also of Levittown and Karen Palaia and her husband, Michael of Holland; and is the beloved Nana to Chase Michael whom she adorded. Brenda will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Toni Carlisi and Jackie Naddeo. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown 19056. Her funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, 11:00 am at Christ the King Orthodox Church,465 Main Street, Tullytown 19007. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours on Monday. The family has requested that memorial contributions in Brenda's name be made to Christ the King Orthodox Church at the address above.
