Barbara A. Richards

Born and raised in Reading, PA, Barbara was a long-time resident of Lower Bucks County where she and her late husband of 61 years, Jerome, planted roots and raised a family of their own.

Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Barbara fell in love with her sweet nature, quick wit, and signature bear hug. She loved spending time with her family, losing money at the casino, and caramels, which she always tried to share with everyone who walked through the door. She loved her family with all of her heart and soul.

She was the loving mother of Jerrilyn A. Miller (Steve), Jo Anne Kubasti (Bob), and Sue North (Douglas).

She was the devoted grandmother of Michael Barclay, Stefanie Malti, Brian Barclay (Erin), Jennifer Barclay (Paul), Amanda Abramiuk (Mike), Taylor Denno (Jordan), and Stephen Miller (Amber); proud great-grandmother of Brian Jr., Jack, Gloria, Aiden, Kaylee, Bryce and Declan; the dear beloved sister of Richard Geiss (Sue); and caring godmother to Jacqueline Moore (Mike). She will be missed by her faithful companion Romey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the parking lot at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16th at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown for procession to Rosedale Memorial Park where a graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
