Barbara A. Potocsky

Barbara A. Potocsky of Warrington passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 74. Born in Coxeville, PA, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Shema, Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Hazleton High School. Barbara married the love of her life in 1962 and they resided in Fairfax, Virginia and Slidell, Louisiana for a number of years before moving to Warrington where they have resided since 1981. Barbara's career as a medical receptionist spanned a period from 1981 until 2009 working for Boland and Levin M.D.'s followed by Frank Boland M.D. and finally Mackell, Cody Burrows Orthopedics. Barbara was the beloved wife of Gabriel J. Potocsky for 53 years. She was the loving mother of Gabriel Potocsky Jr., Mark A. Potocsky, Tanya M. Dennis (Richard) and the late Eric M. Potocsky. She was the devoted grandmother of Richard A. and Michael C. Dennis. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Mary Weising. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Wednesday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1787 Woodbourne Road, Levittown. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 North Lane, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
