Barbara A. Cumberland of Morrisville died on Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 76.Born in Shenandoah, PA, Mrs. Cumberland was a long time resident of Levittown before moving to Morrisville. She was a 1957 graduate of Delhaas High School.Barbara was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish for 56 years and a member of Queen of the Universe parish for the past 2 years.She worked at Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ for over 25 years until retiring.Barbara was a member of the Sultana's of the Alhambra Al-Fath Caravan #126 where she served as president. She was also a member of the Levittown Seniors and the St. Joseph the Worker Seniors and was very active in the Boy Scouts of America in the Pennsbury District.She was devoted to her family and enjoyed her summers with them at the family home in the Poconos.Mrs. Cumberland was the beloved wife of Gordon Cumberland for nearly 58 years.She was the loving mother of Kenneth Cumberland (Patricia), Bernadette "Bunny" Kovalcik (Edward), John Cumberland (Jennifer) and Katrina Rapposelli (Fran).She was the devoted grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 4. She will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.Barbara was preceded in death by her oldest son Charles P. Cumberland; granddaughters Stephanie Kovalcik and Christina Rapposelli; her parents Joseph and Beatrice Post and her siblings Jack and Charlie Post.Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
