Anna Mae Schreiber died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Harmony Village in Moorestown, NJ at the age of 89. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Schreiber was a 1947 graduate of Langhorne High School, and was a long time resident of Warminster. Mrs. Schreiber was the owner/operator of Linda Lee Dress Shop in Langhorne for many years. A passion for baking and generosity in giving her incredible baked goods to so many friends and employees at Rohm & Haas lead to another entrepreneurial endeavor. She also was a cake decorator for Dairy Queen where she didn’t just follow the patterns but instead created original ‘works of edible art’. Mrs. Schreiber was an avid bowler and was named to the Bucks County Bowling Hall of Fame. She had served as Secretary of the Women's International Bowling Congress. She participated in many state and national tournaments and was recognized as an excellent bowler. For many years, Mrs. Schreiber was a foster mother providing a loving and caring home to many children. She treated each child as one of her own. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Schreiber and loving mother of the late JoAnne Schwinger, Mrs. Schreiber is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Cooper (Jordan); grandson, Joseph Colon; and great grandson, Michael Colon. Mrs. Schreiber is the dear sister of Mildred Ahlum, Ken Laino, John Carty, and the late Danny Laino; and will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Visitation and memorial service will be held at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown on Thursday, December 27. Visitation: 11:30am until 1:00pm. Memorial Service: 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Saint Mark Cemetery.
