Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Jennie E. (Audsley) and Charles Walther, Mr. Walther was a former long time resident of Fairless Hills, prior to moving to Holland Village in 2019.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a machinist by trade.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Anna (Briegel), and loving father of the late Michael Walther, Mr. Walther is survived by his devoted children, Sherry Robey (Joseph), Robin Norton (Robert), Albert Walther, Jr. (Kathryn) and Susan Wire (William).
He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jennifer and Brian Robey, Dawn Kaess, Robert Norton, Jr., Wendy Moseley, Annie and Katie Walther, and Thomas Wire; and great grandchildren, Owen and Megan Kaess and Drew Moseley and Kylee Norton.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Walther's name may be made to the Salvation Army, Attn: Developmental Disabilities Program, 701 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
