Pauline Reding

Pauline Reding, 83, of Whitharral, Texas, passed away on Sunday June 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held 10:00a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Whitharral, Texas, with the Reverend Jay Macha, officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitharral Cemetery under the direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas.

Pauline was born to Dewy and Myra Lang on July 18, 1930, in Brownfield, Texas. On July 1, 1947 she married Don Reding in Amarillo, Texas. She and Don moved to Whitharral in 1950 to start a life in farming. They were married for fifty-seven years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her mother and father, a sister and a brother. She leaves behind six children, Bud and Mitzi Reding of Lubbock, Roger and Jody Reding of Lubbock, Larry and Paula Wade of Whitharral. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Chris and Andrea Wade of Ralls, Nathan and Stacy Demel of Melissa, Rusty and Carey Rumbaugh of Odessa, Ragen Reding, Randi Reding, Riley Reding, Madison Weeks and Morgan Weeks all of Lubbock; six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Devin, and Eastlyn Wade of Ralls, Luke, Justin and Logan Demel of Melissa; and a great friend, companion and caregiver, Olaya Boulware of Levelland.
