Reba Blalock Robbins

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James LeRoy Robbins.

Reba was a retired teacher’s assistant at Collettsville Elementary and also a substitute teacher of the Caldwell County School System. She was a faithful member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Lenoir, and she loved Carolina basketball and her Hudson High School Alumni class of 1961.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Grant Robbins, daughter Penni Robinson, granddaughter Olivia Robinson and great granddaughter Gabriella Bryant. In addition, she is survived by two loving sisters, Mary Blalock Styzle of Charlottesville, VA and Geneva Blalock Hartley of Garden City, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Beck officiating. Burial will follow the services at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
