

Ramona Clark Bryant passed away on March 28, 2025, peacefully at UNC Health in Morganton after a period of declining health. Born July 7, 1946, to the late Edward and Ruth Clark, she was a lifelong resident of Lenoir.
Prior to her retirement in July 2012, she worked in sewing at Bernhardt Furniture and Blue Bell Textile companies. She was also the smiling face who greeted patrons of the 1890 Club in Lenoir for the entire time it was open.
She is survived by her son Michael (Mike) Bryant and wife Darlene of Lenoir, her honorary daughter / niece Jennifer Sumpter Mace and husband Derek of Hickory, one granddaughter Adrian Bradshaw Anderson, two honorary grandsons Gavin and Tyler Mace, and best friend / brother-in-law Grady Sumpter and his girlfriend Lesia Finney of Lenoir. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers Douglas and Ronald Clark and sister Susan Sumpter, all of Lenoir.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and with friends at Koinonia.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
