Patricia Land Crouch

Patricia Lee Land Crouch, 74, of Lenoir, passed away quietly on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir. She was born September 29, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late David Alva Land and Callie Estelle Knight Land. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crouch was preceded in death by her husband, the late Paul M. Crouch; two sisters, Clara Kaylor and Ruth Bean and seven brothers, Earl, Maynard, Thomas, Hurbert, Jack, Kenneth and Harold Land.

Mrs. Crouch attended Hudson High School and worked for several years for Shuford Mills in Hudson. She later retired from Bernhardt Furniture after more than 30 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hudson where she assisted with the Shoe Box Ministry.

Mrs. Crouch is survived by her brother Verne Land and his wife Jan; one son Patrick Crouch and wife Kay S. Crouch of Lenoir; two daughters, Cindy Holt of Harrisburg and Chrystal Sain and husband Richard of Lenoir. She also had three grandchildren, Patricia and Zoie Sain and Logan Holt. She loved her family and was greatly proud of the accomplishments of her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family Friday, May 4, 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Hudson and other times at the home of Mrs. Crouch. A memorial service to honor Mrs. Crouch will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mack Jarvis and Reverend Wade Dellinger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Crouch had requested donation to be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
