Myrtle Hall Price

Myrtle Lucille Hall Price, 88, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir.

Mrs. Price was born in Caldwell County to the late Thomas Henry Hall and Grace Prestwood Hall. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved working in her flower garden and vegetable garden. She loved and cherished her family and especially loved her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fronies Edward Price; her son, James Price; her brothers, Fred and Arv Hall; her sisters, Ruby Carswell, Shirley Prichard and Anne Hall; a grandson, Buddy Reeves Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Carroll Price and wife Sandy of Lenoir, and David Price of Lenoir; her daughters, Margie Crotts, Peggy Reeves, and Mary Williams and husband Marvin, all of Lenoir; her brothers, James Prestwood, Bill Hall, and Tommy Hall, all of Lenoir; her sister, Bea Coffey of Morganton; 13 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Price, Cameron Worley, Derek Williams, Ryan Price, Charles Martin and Tyler Martin.

The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
