Mrs. Clark was a very loyal dedicated servant to the Lord and to her family. She had a kind heart and a loving spirit, and was always faithful in her worship of God and the Lord, Jesus Christ. In the past few years she spent her time rolling around in her wheelchair at the nursing home witnessing to people and praying for them. She would sing for the other residents, and many times put her own twist on the songs that she shared with others. When she was visited she would always ask: ”Have you heard from any body up on the mountain?” This was in reference to her home area of Jonas Ridge and the Grandfather Mountain area. Prior to her husband's death, Mrs. Clark lived in Collettsville, NC and later moved to Morganton, NC. Due to health related issues and age, she became a resident of Liberty Commons in Benson, NC to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter.
