In addition, he’s survived by his children, Leon Jonathan Ibarra, Alejandro Ibarra, Daniel Ibarra, and Daisy Ibarra, his granddaughter, Elila Josephine Ibarra, and siblings, Graciela Macias, Ismael Ibarra, Patricia Campos, Raphael Ibarra, and Erik Ibarra.

Mr. Ibarra was a loving and devoted Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, and Uncle. He worked as a mechanic for many years. Buying tools was his passion (Except Craftsman). He was also exceptionally good at losing his phone in Mexico. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge, Bull riding, Horseback Riding, Soccer, Softball, Dancing, Singing, traveling to his hometown Ziquitaro, Michoacan, and making people laugh.

A receiving of friends for Jose will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, 522 Wilkesboro Blvd SE, Lenoir, North Carolina, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 PM.
