James Dallas Braswell

James Dallas Braswell, age 76, of Hudson, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was born in Caldwell County on January 16, 1948 to the late James Robert Braswell and Cedron Rilda (Clark) Braswell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of twenty years Karen (Eller) Braswell, daughters Jessica Murphy, Karen Queen, Angela Eller and Billie Jean Swink. Mr. Braswell had two sisters in Angela Labdon and Ginger Lackey and one brother Don Braswell. He was also blessed with nine grandchildren plus three great grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Braswell worked twenty-five years for Bernhardt Furniture as an assembly technician.

James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved his family and his martial arts, the outdoors and helping anyone he encountered who was in need not to mention he doted on his grandchildren whom he loved greatly.

A service for family and friends to honor his memory will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Rev. Sam Craven will officiate during the memorial service. The U.S. Army Honor Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans' Honor Guard will participate in honor of Mr. Braswell's military service.
