Helen Louise McLean

Helen Louise Bryant Mclean, age 92, of Lenoir, NC went to be with her Lord & Savior & beloved husband, Charles McLean, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Lenoir Healthcare.

Mrs. McLean was born on September 13, 1922 to Minnie Sumpter and John R. Bryant. She held many jobs over her years, which included: Bell South in Lenoir, NC; First Union National Bank in Lenoir, NC; Northwestern Bank in Hickory, NC; and Spainhours, in Lenoir, NC. Mrs. McLean was also a member of First Baptist of Lenoir. She attended Valmead Elementary School and Happy Valley. Mrs. McLean loved spending her spare time pruning her flowers and rose bushes and took great pride in her immaculate home and landscaping; and being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLean was preceded in death by a husband, Charles McLean of Lenoir, and many brothers and sisters. Surviving family members left behind to cherish memories that she has given them include one brother, Glen Alden Bryant; one daughter, Gail Ambrocio and husband Benito Ambrocio; one son, Charles Steven McLean; one grand-daughter, Markie Shaw; one grand-son, Charles Steven McLean II; and four great-grandchildren, Zachary McLean, Bailey McLean, Tyler Shaw, and Addisyn Shaw.

Family will receive those who wish to pay their respects, as well as share memories on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 1:00-1:45p.m.; followed by graveside service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
