He was born January 6, 1932 in Darby of Wilkes County, North Carolina to the late Jasper and Maie Sanders Triplett. He was a part of the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. During those 4 years he proudly served in the Korean War before becoming an honorable veteran. Brady was proud of his Baptist faith. He was married for 50 wonderful years and they made one child together. Brady worked for Singer Furniture for most of his life. One of his biggest joys in life was collecting all sorts of Nascar memorabilia. He also enjoyed motorcycles in his younger years.
The most important people in his life were his son Bradley Triplett, and grandson Taz Triplett, who he would do anything for. Brady's amazing sense of humor and huge smile will forever be cherished by many.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn Hamby Triplett; sisters, Oler Triplett, Ila Triplett, and Hazel Triplett Wolfe; and brother, Jay Triplett.
Those left to keep him in their hearts are son, Bradley Triplett of Lenoir; grandson, Taz Triplett and Charity of Hickory; sisters, Faye Hendricks of Valdese, Clara Robins of Darby, and Rannie Shew of Hendersonville; brothers, Archie Triplett of Lenoir, Troy Triplett of Lenoir, Harm Triplett of Lenoir, and many loved nieces and nephews.
The family of Mr. Triplett will receive friends on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. A service honoring his life will be help at 1:30pm at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum in Lenoir. Travis Triplett, nephew of the deceased will be officiating the service.
