Mrs. Barbara Ann Crump Crowe, 82, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation in Granite Falls. Mrs. Crowe was born October 9, 1939 in Caldwell County to the late Sidney M. and Rosa Greene Crump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Alton Crowe Sr. and five siblings.
Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She enjoyed camping with her husband and gardening as well.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melonie C. Foster and husband Phil, a son, David Alton Crowe Jr. and wife Tracy, a granddaughter, Sonja L. Foster, a grandson, Sam Foster, two step grandchildren, Matthew Bumgarner and Jason Bumgarner and wife Jessika, two step great grandchildren, Serenity Bumgarner, Cruse Bumgarner, a special niece, Brenda Petty and husband Terry and a great nephew, Wesley Petty and wife Amanda and their children, Caleb and Makenzie.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Valley United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
