Arthur Lee Jones

Arthur had a love for hunting, fishing, and woodworking but most of all he loved his family, friends, and the Lord. As a member of The Resurrection Hope Church for 50 + years, he made sure to tell everyone, “The Lord is coming; you need to be ready.” He served his country in the United States Army.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years Maggie Jones. Brother Paul (Martha) Jones, brother in laws James (Kathy) Walker and Scott (Fiancée Tammy) Walker all of Lenoir. Sisters Peggy McCall of Baton and Margaret (R.L.) Triplett of Dudley Shoals, along with a number of loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones is preceded in death by four brothers Thomas, Bill, John, and Doug Jones and one sister Linda Triplett.

The Jones family would like to send a special Thanks to Hospice and In Home Care for the great care provided during this time.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday June 4, 2022 at 11:00 am, Pastor Michael Medlock will officiate.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Serving as Pallbearers are Scott Walker, Paul Jones, Wade Church, Dewey Phillips, Paul Duncan, and Rodney Clark. Dennis Baldwin will serve as honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 3, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
