Annie Loyce Miller Price, 100, of Lenoir passed from this world to her eternal home on November 12, 2024. She was born February 20, 1924, the daughter of the late Rev. Robert Broadus Miller and Bertha Lou Miller.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Thomas Lee Price, son, Edwin Price, grandson, David Price and siblings Coline Cloer, Thad Miller, R. B. Miller, Johnny Miller, Vonnie Hartley, Barbara Street, Vera Eller and Dwight Miller.
Mrs. Price is survived by her sons, William (Sarah) Price of Mount Gilead, Robert Price of Lenoir, Frank (Susan) Price of Lenoir, Doug (Lynnette) Price of Dacula, Georgia and honorary son Ray (Brenda) Triplett of Lenoir, siblings, Trilby Price of Lenoir, Ruby Church of Chesnee, S.C., Lillian Young-Cole of Hudson, Paul Miller of Hudson, and Hilda Ball of Roanoke, Va.
She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and would say her biggest accomplishment was teaching her children about the goodness and mercy of the Lord. Mrs. Price was blessed with 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was a dedicated Christian and faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church where she served in the library for many years and was a member of the Silver Saints.
A service to honor Mrs. Price will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Sam Craven officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Mykal Price, Spencer Harris, Timothy Price, II, Samuel Price, Zebulun Price and William Jacob. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Whorley and Casey Winkler.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church.
