Mr. Batton is survived by his wife, OraLee Batton; daughter, Malinda Medders (Tim); sons, Gary D. Batton, Mitchell Lynn Batton (Linda), William Scott Batton (Melissa); sisters, Mary Knight (Stan), Willie Mae Wright; grandchildren, Bonita, Angela, Brittney, John, Gregory, Kayla, Amber, Angel, Leah, Ashlee, Wayne and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds from 5:30PM until 8PM.
Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with burial at Kendrick Cemetery.
Mr. Batton will Lie In State at the Church on Monday beginning at 1PM.
