Mrs. Ruby Pate Waid of Guntersville, age 93, passed into the Glory of God on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She grew up in Leeds and always considered it home. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years James C. Waid, her identical twin sister Ruth Pate Martin (Don), her daughter Karen Waid Bowman, two sisters and 4 brothers. Ruby and all of her siblings graduated from Leeds High School. She will be missed by her 4 daughters, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ruby was a long time member of Creek Path Baptist Church in Guntersville.
