Leon S. Moore

Leon Stuart Moore, 85, of Springville, Alabama, passed on December 24, 2022. Stuart was born on December 13, 1937 in St. Clair County. He retired as a metallurgist from H.K. Porter and Company. Stuart was an avid Alabama fan and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margie S. Moore, his daughter, Jacqueline Moore (Mike), his sons, Tim Moore (Marie), and Chris Moore (Sherry), his grandchildren, Kimberly Hayes (Steve), Laura Madison (Brett), Christina Doyle (Kevin), James Moore (Amber), his great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Madison, Molly Kate Madison, Kayla Booth, Maddie Booth, Gile Booth, Neveah Kinslow, Andrew Kinslow, Ava Kinslow, Dawn Doyle, and Brianna Moore, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mabel Moore, his brother, Lonnie Joe Moore, and his sisters, Carolyn Standifer and Jacqueline Elizabeth Moore. Visitation will be held on Friday December 30, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00PM at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Odenville, with the funeral service at 2:00PM. Burial to follow afterwards at Ebenezer Cemetery.
