Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Franklin and sister, Paulette Brasher.
He is survived by his daughter, Trista McIntosh, son, Richard Franklin, sisters, Lois Chambers, Donnis Franklin, Freddie McCardle (Raymond), brother, Larry Franklin, grandchildren, Khloe and Kaylee McIntosh.
The family will receive friends at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM at New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora, AL.
