Janie Brown, age 87, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Janie is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Brown; parents, Hershel and Eva Lovell; brothers, Grady Lovell, Ernest Lovell, Dewey Lovell, Hershel Lovell Jr.; sister, Elsie Kelley. Janie is survived by her daughter, Delane (Ricky) Brown; sons, Doug (Melanie) Brown and Dennis Brown; grandchildren, Kristi (Jason) Harmon, Katie (Keith) Walker, Eric (Bethany) Bowen, Pamela Sanderson, Andrea Brown, Jade Lester, Chris (Stacey) Hatley, and Matt (Brooke) Hatley; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Mary Lou) Lovell. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 9, 2023 from 12:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Branchville Cemetery.
