James “Jimmy” Donald White, age 60, of Leeds, Alabama, passed away peacefully September 22, 2024, leaving behind countless memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Born with an unmistakable spirit to Curtis and Betty White ,Jimmy was truly one of a kind, and a man who lived life on his own terms, never wavering from who he wanted to be.
Though Jimmy never married or had children, his life was full of love. He shared deep bonds with his large, extended family and friends. He is survived by his two brothers, Mike White (Paula) and Joe White (Cathy), and his sister, Jan Stone (Joel). His 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 11 great nieces,
12 great nephews, 1 great, great niece , and countless cousins, will fondly remember their “Uncle”Jimmy who was always the life of the party, full of energy, and fun.
Jimmy’s love for the water was a defining part of his life. He spent countless hours boating and playing on Logan Martin Lake where his laughter and larger-than-life personality could always be found. He had an extraordinary ability to make you love him and hate him at the same time—driving you crazy in the best way possible, but always making you come back for more.
His stubborn charm and bold character left a mark on everyone he met. His passing leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew him. Jimmy’s unique presence, his unforgettable sense of humor, and his unyielding approach to life will be missed more than words can express.
