Freddie Mizzell

Freddie Mizzell, age 71, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Mr. Mizzell retired from St. Clair County Board of Education as shop forman. He worked for Murray's Garage for over 26 years. He was a graduate of St. Clair County High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Mizzell is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Mizzell; father, Gene Mizzell; sister, Tereasa Truney; brother, Tommy Mizzell; and daughter, Cynthia Johnston. He is survived by sons, Christopher Mizzell (Tonia), Joseph Mizzell, Jonathan Mizzell (Mary); 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; mother, Flossie Mizzell; sisters, Alice Barber, Rosa Lee Ash; and brother, Richard Mizzell (Jamie). There will be a visitation Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Odenville, Alabama. Services will be directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094.
