Dr. Allen is survived by his wife of 49 years, Fran Smith; daughters, Connie Cheney (John), Traci Banks, and Toni Tidmore; sons, Scott Smith; grandchildren, J.T. Banks, Wes Banks, Rebecca Gibbs (John), Katherine Braswell and Grace Braswell; sisters, Polly Matlock (Joe), Sue Vola, and brother, Frank Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 12:00PM with a memorial service to follow at 12:30PM.
