Mrs. Chambers was born August 5, 1924 in Leeds, AL. She became a Christian in August 1938 and joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, baptized in Little Cahaba Creek on Bailey Road by Reverend Fred Maxey. She went to school in Leeds. She married in October 25, 1945 to Albert Glenn Chambers who was from Henagar, Alabama on Sand Mountain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Glenn Chambers, son, Glenn Edward Chambers, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Jean Kerley (Paul), Mary Evelyn Kerley (Frank), grandchildren, Joey Glenn Chambers (Nicki), Stacy Dawson (William), great grandson, Logan Glenn Chambers and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Friday, April 10, 2015 beginning at 10AM.
Funeral Services will be Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11AM from Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
