Gary Cyril Newman

Gary Newman passed away on February 1, 2014 at the young age of 26, due to an untimely motor vehicle accident. Gary was born in March 6, 1987 in Edmonton Alberta. Gary and his family moved to Leduc in 1994 and called Leduc his home.

Gary obtained his Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic status and loved working in his profession as well on his own cars and building his own motor. Gary loved and had a passion for sledding, dirt bike riding, snowboarding and his favorite taking to the road on the Harley. Gary was that special person that when he came into your life he would make you feel included, see the positive and leave you feeling happy with a smile on your face.

Gary was loved and adored by his father Gary, his mother Anita and his brother Mark, as well his grand parents, great grand parents (past & presents), aunts and uncles (past & present), and cousins (past & present). Gary loved and will be missed by numerous friends of Gary and their extended families.

A visitation will be held at the Hainstock Funeral Home, 4802-47 Avenue Leduc on Wednesday February 12, 2014 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Gary’s urn will be placed to rest at the Leduc Cemetery on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Gary’s life will follow at 1:00 pm at the Nisku Recreational Center with a reception to follow. Both the service and celebration of life are open to all.
