November 20, 2008, to parents Mary and Mark Call. A lively, gregarious, outgoing boy; he was
known by his friends and family as ambitious and ready for anything.
As a student of Cedar Crest Middle School and baseball player in North Lebanon Little League
(South Division), he was surrounded constantly by his friends. Like his father, he was a huge
New York sports fan; he loved attending games and cheering on the Yankees, Knicks, and Giants
every season with his family. In addition to baseball, Jackson loved playing golf, tennis, and
basketball. Jackson was incredibly kind, silly, and generous and lit up every room with his
infectious smile.
Jackson is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mark and Barbara Call and his Uncle
Jeffrey Lee. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Mary Call, his sister Madeline, maternal
grandparents Pete and Beverley Wells, Aunts Linda (Ruben) Payan, Nancy (David) Dillon, and
cousins Shawn, Ruben, and Peter.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 11, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m and Monday, April 12 from
10:00 am to 11:00 am at Good Shepard Church (1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon, PA). Religious
services will start at 11:00 am on Monday, April 12 at Good Shepard Church.
Jackson wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon when he grew up; thus, in lieu of flowers,
donations can be made to Penn State Hershey Medical Center Children’s Hospital in honor of
Jackson Call.
