George R. Shultz 76, of Lebanon passed away in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was born June 20, 1946 in Lebanon, Pa. to George W. Shultz and Margaret “Peg” Kreiser Shultz. Graduated 1964 from Lebanon High School, was on Football and Track teams in High School. George was active in Sports most of his life. He played Semi-Pro Football for the Lebanon Rams, named to All-League Team. George also enjoyed Basketball, Bowling and Golf with his friends. George was known as Lebanon’s “Number one New York Giant Fan”. George was President of Lebanon Valley Baseball Pony League for many years. He was head coach of North Lebanon Giants and Pete’s Scoopers in baseball. He also coached Basketball in Cedar Crest Student League. After graduating from High School he worked 20 years in the Inspection Dept. at Bethlehem Steel, after closing of the Lebanon Plant, George worked as Dairy Manager for Martins Farm Market, Festival Foods, Giant and retiring from Redners in 2010. George is survived by Loving wife Linda of 33 years. Two sons Kristopher and companion Missy Mong, granddaughter’s, Ava, Roman and Mila of Palmyra, son Chad of Myerstown, Stepson Cory Whitman and wife Heather and sons Gregory and Ryan, step daughter Kristie Whitman and children, Daniel and Olivia Falcon and great granddaughter Josie Falcon.
