My deepest condolences to Linda and family. George was a very dear friend of mine in addition to a co-worker at Redners.  After leaving there we didn't see each other often, but every time we did, I knew I was in for a very warming bear hug. He gave great ones and they were always welcomed with open arms. I knew if I ever needed to talk, George would be there for me. I loved George and will miss him terribly. Knowing he will no longer be in pain is a blessing. Linda, always hold on to your memories which are forever in your heart. I know I will never forget the wonderful man that helped me thru many situations. His memories will always be there. My heart sank today when I learned of George’s passing.  George was a life long friend and classmate and a terrific gentleman. I played baseball with George for the Lebanon Moose team. If I close my eyes , I still see George tripping and rolling on his back ,feet in the air , going to first base on a long base hit at Coleman Park . I never let him live that down. Even now with the sad news of his passing , it brings a smile . Those days seem like yesterday . 
George will be sorely missed by family and friends . My sincere sympathy goes out to all. Rest In Peace , my friend .

Cousin George left an impression of love and humor with me.  I was seven when he was born, spent a lot of time at his house when I was a child so I saw him grow up, and "grow up" he did, you know what I mean.

I was an only child until George was six years old, thus he served as my pseudo-brother during that time until my little brother was born. But he remained my pseudo-brother for 70 more years.  

When I went off to college, and soon married, we did not have that close contact but we always communicated with one another.

I have been living in Florida the last 38 years so then we were apart physically but never mentally, especially the last 15 years when we talked weekly.

How would I describe the characteristics (gifts our Lord gave him)?

Humble, shows and shares love did not expect anything in 
 return, did the unobvious, seemingly insignificant acts of care that most times were unseen by others but our Father saw them, we were 			  treated to his sense of humor (he always saw something positive, 			  humorous during tough times), a dedicated father and husband, and 	  a great athlete.

George grew up fast after his father passed-on-to-glory when he was eight years old.  He soon became the protector of his mom and grandfather. 
He was the care-giver to his mom during her end times.  A loving and caring husband to Linda and father to his sons Chris and Chad who he loved deeply and was always there when needed.

In summary, George was a role model to all loving, serving, protecting, befriending, and sharing laughs. My sons remember, if there was a social time together with music and a dance floor, the dance floor was cleared waiting for George to dance if  "White Wedding" was played.

George has left our Father's earthly kingdom and now rests in His arms in His Heavenly Kingdom
