Doris J Arnold

Doris J. Arnold, 88, of Lebanon, passed away in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon on Wednesday June 27th, 2012. She was born in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Vincent K. and Dorothy M. Little Underkoffler. She was the wife of the late James J. Arnold. Mrs. Arnold was past president of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Chairman of the Good Samaritan Hospital Street Fair in 1973, Board of Trustees of G.S.H., Board of Trustee of Oak View Widows Home. She enjoyed Sewing, playing Golf, Bridge, Playing the Piano, Gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Unity Church in Palmyra. Surviving is her son: Dr. Gregory V. Arnold and wife Beth, Lebanon; daughter: Dr. Eileen Arnold, with partner, Ellen Lynn, Lebanon; granddaughters: Jaime Steinkamp, Marisa, Ashley, Kaila Arnold; great-grandchildren: Emma and Bradley Steinkamp; brother: James Underkoffler and wife Esther, Myerstown; sister in law: Camelia Underkoffler of Myerstown; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son: James Arnold Jr; brother: Vincent K. Underkoffler Jr. A Memorial Service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, Pa., 17042 on Friday, July 6th, 2012 at 11:00a.m. A visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville after the service at at 12:30p.m. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Lebanon County Library 125 N. 7th St., Lebanon, Pa., 17046 and/or Unity in Palmyra 37 E.
