Randolph was born on November 3, 1940 in Georgetown, Texas. He married Betty Lou Smart on June 9, 1960. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty, his brother Glen and sister Frances. He is survived by his brother Chris Bohanan, daughters Lori Roberson, and Kathy McGinty and husband Steve. Grandsons Justin McGinty and wife Erica, Brandon Roberson and wife Shannon, great granddaughter Tracey. Granddaughters Brittany Calame and husband Preston, Chantel Brooks and Fiancé Remo Yagyagan.
Randy started plumbing early in his life and continued the trade for the next 50 years. He was a member of the Local 286 Plumbing and Pipefitting Union in Austin.
Randy absolutely loved to fish, his passion was to fish for the big flat headed Yellowcats in Lake Travis. He would spend hours a day catching perch so that he could bait his lines. When he wasn’t fishing he was camping in the summer or hunting in the winter. He would sneak off on Thanksgiving mornings only to return with a Big Buck.
Randy would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He was one of the most generous persons on earth. What most of his friends and family will remember the most about him was his story telling. He loved to sit around a campfire or under a shade tree and tell stories about his life and adventures.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.wcfishleander.com for the Bohanan family.
