Connie grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas spending her summers on the farm with her grandparents Mike and Ada Watkins. Connie was a real outdoor person, she loved fishing, hunting for arrowheads or just “Daniel Boonen”...as Grandma Ada would say.
After graduation she joined the Navy where she met her 1st husband Gary Hunter, and to this union two boys were born, Jason and Kelly. Gary was killed while serving as a volunteer fireman. After his untimely death Connie continued her schooling, earning a nursing degree, aiding her in the raising of her two boys. They were her pride and joy throughout her life.
Later Connie met and married the love of her life Bob Crim, they were able to celebrate over 25 years together and truly enjoyed each other's company whether watching TV, taking a ride on the back roads, or spending time at the deer lease. Connie loved family and especially enjoyed Daniel Boonen with her grandkids.
Preceding her in death was her husband Gary Hunter, son Kelly Hunter, parents Dale and Joan Castor, step-mother Bonnie Castor, mother-in-law Snookie Hunter, grandparents Mike and Ada Watkins and Glen and Martha Castor.
Connie is survived by her husband Bob Crim, son Jason Hunter, a special daughter-in-law Jennifer L. Hunter, step son Jake Crim and his wife Mary.
