Chantel Lea Roberts was born January 4, 1971 in Georgetown, Texas. She passed from this life July 23, 2022 in Bertram, Texas, at the age of 51. Chantel had lived in Bertram for the past year, moving there from Liberty Hill. She grew up in Leander and was a 1989 graduate of Leander High School. She enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family. She had a kind heart, a love for people and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a strong, determined, and an independent woman. She was a woman of many trades from cosmetology, driving school buses, and being a rock-ologist she did it all. She was always helping anybody whether it be a complete stranger in need, or the people closest to her. She gave her all into being there for people as best as she possibly could. That characteristic reflects in all her children. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Out of all the many things she did in life being a Mom and a Mimi were the two best jobs she ever had. She leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, compassion, and a resilient amount of strength that will be carried on throughout each of her children and undoubtedly passed down to her grandchildren.
Chantel was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Roberts. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Weed; children, Todd Roberts-McAvoy (Brittany Koenig), Leann Tripplett (Jacob Tippie), John Roberts (Brianna Quintero) and Paul Watson; grandchildren, Colton McAvoy, Gracelynn McAvoy and Peyton Roberts; siblings, Carlene Gutierrez (Jesse) and Marvin Roberts (Jacquelyn); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and so many friends she has found on her journey.
A Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas 78641. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow at Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street, Cedar Park, Texas, from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.
