Maurice Edward Estes

Mr. Maurice Edward “Pete” Estes, age 84 of Lawrenceburg passed away on October 19, 2016 at NHC of Scott. He was a native of Lawrence County, Loan Officer at F.H.A., a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jane Blanton Estes; three sons, Todd Maurice Estes (Connie); Johnny Allen Estes (Terri); Jason Cecil Estes (Karen); one daughter, Nancy Janelle Estes; five grandchildren, Michael Estes, Matthew Estes, Lindsey Estes, Alex Estes and Caitlin Estes; one brother, Robert Larry Estes (Susan); one sister, Barbara Sue Sims (Wesley).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Joel and Minnie Bell Bryant Estes; two sisters, Joann Estes and Virginia Inez Vantell.

Funeral Service will be held at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church, Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2 pm with Ricky Wade officiating and interment in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.

Lie-in-state at Coleman Memorial Methodist Church from 1 till 2 pm.

Visitation will be held a Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Saturday, October 22, 2016, 6 ~ 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Coleman United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
